Elegant Tones of White & Gold Kindle A Fantasy Christmas Holiday Tablescape Inspired by “Swan Lake,” the Artful, Classic Holiday Ballet

The classic Holiday Ballet, Swan Lake, inspired the enchanting winter fantasy table decor this Christmas.

I hope it will inspire you 🦢🤍✨

The ballet's themes of Love, Loyalty, and Transformation inspired me and my thoughtful holiday table decor.

In winter’s theme, I chose the color concept of white and gold, a wee bit of silver.

Lot's of glitter; lots of glamour.

I employed a double layer of tablecloths: a white polka dot with a gauzy green topped with pearls and what else? Glitter.

Likewise, I layered the place settings with gold and white and polka dot plates and napkins; gold cutlery.

The gold and silver bow napkin rings are vintage ~ I discovered them at an estate sale. In an I. Magnin box (The luxury department store closed in 1984)

Our wedding crystal, Vesta by Spiegelau, sparkles in the day and, with the fairy lights, extra twinkly, at night.

The magical centerpiece, the highlight of the tablescape, is Christopher Radko's "Carousel of Dreams" with its dreamy swans, gifted to me by a favorite aunt. I cherish it and her memory…

I purchased the sparkly silver swans at  @westelm   ~ love their feathery style.

I also purchased the gold swan sleighs, from  @michaels   and found some of the crystal and porcelain swans online.

The crystal candle holders were gifted by a dear friend last year.

Everything else, I had and reworked for this winter wonderland fantasy.

Cheers to you and creating a magical table setting for your family and friends to gather at when you're hosting special celebrations and making memories and traditions.

Wishing you a peaceful, beautiful, holiday.

As an added bonus, here is my warm Thanksgiving tablescape that, given the demands of life and the holidays, I didn’t get a chance to post here (but can be seen on my YouTube.

This Classic Table Celebrates Season of Gratitude & Thanks.

A traditional Autumn and Thanksgiving table setting features the colors of the fallen leaves: brown, gold, yellow.

And ~ drum roll please ~ Mocha Mousse ~ Pantone's Color of the Year. Seems we were ahead of the announcement ~ prescient sense about wanting to feel cozy and nurtured.  The company says: "The earthy color seizes on "a growing movement to align ourselves with the natural world,"

The Table Design is a warm hug.

We were already charmed by the elegant, luxurious look of my Thanksgiving holiday tablescape ~ followed by feeling a wee bit puffed-up & ritzy; an ahead-of the-curve, prescient sense of being a trendsetter of sorts 😉 ~ after Pantone announced its Color of the Year as "Mocha Mousse..."

Indeed, we were in simpatico with what the design firm characterized as "The warm, brown hue, reminiscent of chocolate mousse and latte coffee, (that) aims to bring a sense of comfort, intimacy, and elegance."

Please enjoy the video "tour" here and on my You Tube, along with the images of the brown & copper & peach colored look, describing the comforting, quiet luxury of Mocha Mousse's "subtle elegance & earthy refinement" as says the NYT style gurus.

Cheers to cozy comfort and entertaining at home.

I used a mix of vintage pieces and new; the composition's beauty is a sum of its parts.

The details add the harmonious charm: pineapple name card holders, fox plates and napkin rings, Menu Cards, Party Cracker Poppers filled with charms & fun games, and more.

The power grid went down while dining on Thanksgiving, so we ended up with lots of candles! That was a Thanksgiving twist & we made the best of it!

After the big dinner, I changed up the look for us and still kept the overall table style.  ... A nice benefit when you have quality pieces that allow design modifications. You can change your table decor as you change your mood!

You can find details of all the table elements at my Garden Glamour by Duchess Designs blog/website  ~ see the Duchess Picks. As a courtesy, I include the products and where to source :)

I especially thank  @KevinsFineOutdoorGear  for their fabulous pheasant placemats. They are so eye-catching, rich, elegant... And a conversation-starter.

Cheers to you and happy times entertaining at home.
