Winners Announced Today for 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show “United by Flowers”
While I could argue that everyone is a winner of the The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show “United by Flowers” because, in the end, we are all champions who benefit from engaging with the beauty of the horticultural presentations and exhibits; the PHS today announced the formal winners as judged by their expert teams.
Here’s the list of the winners who showcased their unique perspectives and will set the style for garden and floral design this year. And if you plan to visit, you can use the list as your special passport:
The PHS news: “The 2024 Flower Show gathered the most cutting-edge, renowned landscape architects, garden designers, horticulturists, and florists from around the world to design dozens of breathtaking exhibits that capture the essence of this year’s theme while showcasing the latest gardening trends.
"We are thrilled to recognize the creativity and innovation shown by this year’s exhibitors at the 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show. We saw out-of-the-box design concepts and we're excited to see how these innovative, trend-setting exhibits will inspire gardeners across the country,” stated PHS’s Vice President and Creative Director of the Flower Show, Seth Pearsoll.
“The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show Cup for Best in Show – Landscape” was presented to Apiary Studio, a Philadelphia-based landscape architecture, design and experimental horticultural firm.

The firm’s exhibit, “Right of Way,” celebrates highway roadsides as a unifying American experience. The ditches and embankments along roadsides form a green throughway that unites remnant land across the country and is a place that can help restore habitats and add beauty.
